Caban Llys y Frân is a cute newly-built secluded writer's cabin in a peaceful Pembrokeshire location in the heart of Wales' most beautiful county. Pembrokeshire has a rich heritage of these tin cottages, chapels and shops, built in the early decades of the twentieth century. You can walk to Llys y Frân Country park across the fields and then hire a bike and go around the water on safe tracks or just have lunch in their café overlooking the lake.
We think it is the perfect love nest for two...or two and a pooch as there is a 2 acre enclosed field to the front. A fire (or two in this case), a veranda and huge view are probably all you need to make a holiday successful, but when you venture out you'll realise you are perfectly placed to explore the best of Pembrokeshire - you can literally get to all the famous West Wales sights and beaches within 30 minutes. Short drives will take you to unspoilt beaches, ancient castles, and pretty market towns.
The cabin is snug year-round, with double glazed windows, a very high level of modern insulation, and wood burners inside and out. You have two acres of land to romp about in, and direct access to a good footpath network - making this a great rental for dog owners. The location in the heart of Pembrokeshire is ideal for exploring this, the greenest (and many would say prettiest) of Welsh counties. You can explore more of the local 'tin' heritage at the local tin shops, and the local pub, 'Y Tafarn Sinc' or go to chapel in a tin tabernacle!

The cabin looks like it dates from the 1930s but is, in fact, new - so is snug year-round, heated by a wood burner and modern panel heaters.
WIFI works in every room (note, we've never had any problem with it, and to our knowledge, it always works, but like any accommodation provider we cannot guarantee WIFI)
